Can the Game Industry and Politics Get Along

Can the game industry and politics get along?? The system always wants, and demands that people follow the laws being set forth . But there are baseless laws being made, and yet there are some laws that the law makers themselves don’t even try to follow. They look at the powerful game industry with the “political eye”, so when games such as Grand Theft Auto come out, they make sure that it goes though every filter ($$$$$) they can think of because they know what the end results are going to be!! Why is this like this? Is it that maybe (Just maybe!) that politicians and law makers “see” something of themselves inside these games that they don’t like in some weird way? Don’t get me wrong, as this video shows while reviewing this game, that gamers and game developers need to go under political filters for professional and policy reasons, but why are games so heavily taxed? Could it be that politician’s kids are playing these games?!   With that in mind, shouldn’t it be even more imperative that education, government, and politics have a more “creative eye” with developers , So that there is a more balance between creatives, policy, government, liberal media, artists, and so forth? Will that time come…….?

Teaching The Future!

I’ve have something on my mind, been teaching a young man of 14 years of age, and he’s my neighbor’s grandson also. He has a lot trouble with his mother, and his father is not in life. It’s to a point now that nether his mother, father, and grandfather want anything to do with him because how bad he acts! In short, they don’t know what to do him other than ship him around like baggage!! But, why is it that when I’m teaching him drawing, or showing him a computer program I have his full attention? This kid’s taking ADD medicine almost everyday, but when I’m teaching him he’s learning
a complicated computer language HTML5, and wanting to do more. Hell, it took me years to learn Adobe Photoshop, but he’s learning faster than me!!! This from a kid that none of his family want to be around. Now, I’m not saying that every kid is going to want to be a designer. But, what I am saying is that the way people think when something different, they almost always put it through hell thinking that it’s going to work in the way they see fit!!! There might be another way right around the corner, but there so busy thinking in there mind set this way the only way because this way pays money, or this way gets me “I” want!!! Facebook, maybe I’m missing something but If we don’t stop and think, our future is going straight to Hell!
